Pike Creek Golf Course, previously named Three Little Bakers Country Club & Dinner Theatre, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Wilmington, Delaware.
The course first opened for play in 1971, The golf course was designed by Ed Ault.
The terrain is hilly, and water hazards come into play on many holes. In addition, there are many large trees that can alter your shots. Wind can also be a factor, so choosing the right club can be important. The signature hole is #15, a 439-yard, par 4, which requires a tee shot from off a hill to a severely undulating green.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,609 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,209 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 583 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 163 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 16, the 583 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Three Little Bakers Country Club is # 1, a 167 yard par-3.
The course closed in 2010.

Need to keep fairways and greens properly watered. Too many brown/hard spots. Have played there before and course has deteriorated since the last time I played. I hope that the new owners will take steps to correct and improve the course.

Most un-playable course I have ever been to. No working sprinkler system meant 6000 yards of dirt, crab grass and rocks. Under new ownership who might be able to make it better. Good luck. Dont play until at least 2010.

How the new management decides to keep the course will determine how good a course this is. From the back tees ,a very good challenge....
